Terms of use

These terms cover the website and the editor preview. They will be reissued before anything is sold.

What this service is

EditPLR is a tool for editing documents you already hold. It reads a PDF, turns its contents into editable blocks, and writes your edits back into that same file. It is currently an early preview under active development, offered as it is, with no guarantee that it is complete, uninterrupted or free of defects.

Your content and your rights

You are responsible for what you open with this tool. By using it you confirm that you hold the rights to edit and republish the material, whether through a private label rights licence, your own authorship, or another lawful basis.

EditPLR does not inspect, verify or enforce licences. It cannot determine what your licence permits, and nothing it does should be read as confirmation that a particular use is allowed. If your licence forbids editing, resale, or claiming authorship, using this tool does not change that.

What we do not claim

  • That extracted content will be complete or correctly structured for every document. Some files — scans in particular — cannot be read at all.
  • That an exported document is fit for any particular purpose, or that it satisfies the terms of your licence.
  • That output is unique. A document you re-export without rewriting contains the same text as every other copy of that pack.

Keep your own copies

Nothing you open is stored by this service. Keep your original files and your own backups; there is no copy here to recover if you lose them.

Acceptable use

Do not use this service to process material you have no right to, to infringe copyright, or to attempt to disrupt the service or the people using it.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, EditPLR is not liable for loss arising from use of the service, including lost work, lost income, or claims resulting from publishing material you did not hold the rights to.

Changes

These terms will change as the tool develops, particularly before any paid service opens. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
